Canadian Court Reopens Asylum Case Over Ogboni Threat


A Canadian Federal Court has ordered a fresh review of the asylum case of Nigerian engineer Michael Moshood Ogunwola. Justice Alan Favel ruled that immigration authorities failed to properly assess the influence of the Ogboni fraternity and the risks faced by the applicant. The decision gives Ogunwola another opportunity to seek refugee protection in Canada.

France to Allow Moldovan Licence Exchange Without Tests

Moldovan citizens living in France will soon be able to exchange their driving licences for French ones without taking additional tests, following approval of a bilateral agreement by the French National Assembly. The deal simplifies licence conversion for eligible drivers, supports diaspora integration, and removes long-standing bureaucratic hurdles for thousands of Moldovans residing in France.
