Nigerian Woman, Two Children Killed in Texas Auto Crash

A Nigerian woman and two of her children have died following a fatal road accident in Texas, United States, in a tragedy that has shaken members of the diaspora community.
The victims, identified as 44-year-old Nihinlolawa Agboro and her children, Temiloluwa, 18, and Isaac, 22, lost their lives after a collision involving a truck and a sport utility vehicle along U.S. Highway 90A in Fort Bend County.
According to authorities, the crash occurred on Sunday morning when a truck reportedly lost control, crossed the central divide, and slammed into the oncoming SUV carrying five occupants.
The impact triggered a fire that engulfed both vehicles, leaving three passengers dead at the scene.
Two other occupants of the SUV, aged four and 14, survived the crash but sustained serious injuries and were rushed to hospital for treatment. The truck driver was also hospitalised.
Emergency responders confirmed that the victims died at the scene, while investigators have begun examining the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Preliminary findings suggest that impairment may have contributed to the incident, and officials say legal action is likely as the investigation progresses.
The deaths have sparked an outpouring of grief among Nigerians in the United States, with tributes pouring in for the deceased and support extended to the surviving family members.
