The Lagos State College of Health Technology (LASCOHET) has introduced a comprehensive digital management system and lecture attendance monitoring platform to strengthen academic delivery and accountability. The initiative marks a significant step toward institutional digital transformation.

The new system addresses longstanding challenges associated with manual attendance registers, assignment collation, and lecture monitoring. To ensure smooth implementation, the College organised hands-on training for academic and non-academic staff.
Facilitated by Mr. Oluwafemi Oladeni, the training covered digital attendance tracking, Computer-Based Tests, AI-powered academic support, and a Digital Access Card system. The demonstration of a QR code-based clock-in system generated strong interest among participants.
The Provost, Professor Raheem Olasupo Akewushola, emphasised the importance of embracing technology in modern education. Concerns about reliable internet connectivity were acknowledged, with assurances that infrastructure discussions are ongoing.

The initiative is expected to enhance service delivery, improve accountability, and align LASCOHET with global academic standards.
