Lagos Trains NYSC Corps Members on Pedagogy of Health

The Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development has organised a one-day induction and training programme on Pedagogy of Health for 2025 NYSC corps members in the medical field. The initiative aims to align their practice with international best standards.

Commissioner Mobolaji Abubakre Ogunlende highlighted the critical responsibility of medical corps members and stressed the need for adequate preparation to prevent risks to lives. He assured that the Ministry would sustain the programme.

The Permanent Secretary, Pharm (Mrs.) Toyin Oke-osanyintolu, represented by Mr. Abiodun Dina, urged participants to combine knowledge with innovation, collaboration, and professionalism.

Facilitators delivered sessions on the Lagos State Smart Health Information Platform, Lagos State Health Scheme Law, and Protective and Preventive Health Schemes.

The programme reinforced the state’s commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery through continuous professional development.
