The Lagos State Government, through the Parastatals Monitoring Office, has held a Knowledge Sharing Session for Heads of Finance and Accounts as well as Revenue Officers of parastatals, agencies and government-owned companies.

The session, held at the STO Resource Centre in Alausa, focused on leveraging Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), automation and innovation to improve institutional performance, strengthen accountability and enhance revenue generation across government entities.

Participants engaged in practical discussions on setting measurable revenue targets, tracking financial performance and adopting global best practices for sustainable fiscal management within the public sector.

The event was graced by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Parastatals Monitoring, Hon. Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro, and the Permanent Secretary of the Parastatals Monitoring Office, Dr. Olugbemiga Aina, who both emphasised the importance of data-driven decision-making.

The initiative aligns with the State Government’s broader public finance reform agenda, aimed at improving transparency, efficiency and financial sustainability across all government institutions.
