The Lagos State Government has donated fully automated chemistry analysers to Akerele Primary Healthcare Centre in Surulere and Olojuwon Primary Healthcare Centre in Apapa-Iganmu LCDA to improve diagnostic services at the grassroots.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, the Permanent Secretary, Health District IV, Dr. Abimbola Bowale, said the donation aligns with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES Plus Agenda for healthcare development

Dr. Bowale explained that the equipment would significantly improve laboratory diagnosis, reduce turnaround time, and enhance patient care. The analysers can conduct multiple tests, including liver and kidney function assessments.

She acknowledged the Governor’s continued support for strengthening healthcare delivery across primary health centres in the state.

The initiative is expected to improve early diagnosis, treatment efficiency, and overall healthcare outcomes for residents within the district.
