According to officials at the meeting, the engagement forms part of the planning process for the First Eko Global Export Readiness, Investment and Finance Expo, a programme designed to strengthen market access for Nigerian businesses and enhance export opportunities.

The initiative is expected to provide a platform for entrepreneurs, investors, exporters and financial institutions to connect, share knowledge and explore opportunities within the global trade ecosystem.

The 20th anniversary of the fair marks a milestone in the promotion of the automotive trade in Nigeria. Stakeholders believe that the fair will not only drive sales but also foster technical exchanges that will improve the local capacity for vehicle maintenance and assembly.
