The Idoma community in the diaspora has pledged increased investments in security and agriculture to drive development in Benue South Senatorial District.

The commitment was made at the 29th Annual Convention of the Idoma Association USA, held in Houston, Texas, from July 31 to August 2, 2025, under the theme “Strengthening Agriculture and Enhancing Community Safety in Idomaland.”

The convention reaffirmed full support for the Idoma Area Traditional Council and resolved to mobilize resources, expertise, and networks to build a secure and prosperous future for the Idoma people.
