Health District III Strengthens Private Sector Collaboration

Lagos State Health District III has deepened strategic engagement with Afrimedical Manufacturing and Supplies Limited to improve access to quality medical consumables. The working visit, led by Permanent Secretary Dr. Monsurat Adeleke, focused on strengthening health systems across Eti-Osa, Ibeju-Lekki and Epe.



Afrimedical, a Nigerian manufacturer of disposable syringes and needles, provided a platform for discussions on improving supply reliability and operational efficiency. The collaboration seeks to reinforce frontline service delivery within primary healthcare facilities.

Dr. Adeleke stressed that leveraging private sector expertise remains vital to building a resilient healthcare system. She highlighted the importance of sustainable support mechanisms to ensure uninterrupted access to essential supplies.

Officials noted that strong institutional partnerships are central to advancing the state’s broader health reform agenda. Improved procurement systems and compliance with public health standards were identified as priority areas.


The visit concluded with a shared commitment to innovation-driven collaboration aimed at delivering accessible, efficient and high-quality healthcare services to residents across the district.
