The Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA) has urged residents to enrol in its Skills Acquisition Centres across the five divisions of the state.

Commissioner Hon. Bolaji Cecilia Dada said the centres offer vocational and entrepreneurial training aimed at equipping participants with employable and income-generating skills.
Courses include computer studies, catering, welding, fashion design, leather works, refrigeration repairs, and other practical trades aligned with the THEMES Plus Agenda.
The initiative targets women, young adults, and vulnerable groups to promote self-reliance and economic inclusion.

The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable empowerment programmes that enhance productivity and reduce unemployment.
