Triangle International Magazine has announced plans to host a major conference in London aimed at encouraging Africans living abroad to invest more actively in the continent’s development.
The event, which marks the magazine’s 10th anniversary, will bring together members of the African diaspora, investors, and development partners to explore economic and institutional growth opportunities across Africa.
Publisher of Triangle News Media International, Femi Salako, said the gathering is designed to strengthen engagement between Africa and its diaspora community, particularly in areas such as investment, entrepreneurship, and knowledge exchange.
According to him, holding the anniversary lecture in London reflects the organisation’s expanding international presence and its commitment to connecting influential Africans across borders.
Salako noted that over the past decade, the publication has evolved into a platform that celebrates the achievements of Africans both on the continent and in the diaspora, highlighting leadership, innovation, and professional excellence.
He stressed that diaspora communities remain key contributors to Africa’s development through remittances, business ventures, policy contributions, and strategic partnerships that support long-term growth.
The London conference is also expected to provide a forum for policymakers, entrepreneurs, scholars, and professionals within the African community in the United Kingdom to discuss practical solutions to development challenges facing the continent.
Salako added that while the event will take place abroad, the magazine maintains strong Nigerian roots and remains committed to promoting African progress while building international partnerships.
He described the anniversary celebration as an important milestone that reflects ten years of documenting African success stories and fostering connections that advance development across borders.
