A 28-year-old Nigerian man, Adebayo Maoli, has been arrested in Canada over two alleged incidents of indecent exposure involving passengers on Toronto's subway system.
Maoli faces two counts of committing an indecent act and one count of sexual assault following separate incidents reported on September 1 and October 3, according to Toronto police.
The first incident reportedly occurred around 3 p.m. on September 1 aboard a southbound Toronto Transit Commission subway train at King Station, where Maoli allegedly exposed himself to two passengers.
Police said the two individuals activated a security alarm, prompting the suspect to leave the train.
In the second incident, which occurred in the early hours of October 3, Maoli allegedly followed another person into an elevator after leaving the subway at College Station.
According to police, he exposed himself to the individual before fleeing the scene after being verbally confronted.
Maoli was subsequently arrested and charged in connection with the two incidents, Toronto Today reported.
