President Tinubu Celebrates Abike Dabiri-Erewa’s Father on 100th Birthday

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Alhaji Ashafa Erogbogbo on the occasion of his 100th birthday, describing the achievement as a reflection of a lifetime of discipline, integrity, and dedicated service to Nigeria.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the President praised the centenarian for his contributions to national development through his work at the Government Printing Press, the Nigeria Customs and Excise Service, and Shell Nigeria Limited, where he served as an aviation supervisor.
Tinubu said Erogbogbo distinguished himself through professionalism, diligence, and commitment to excellence throughout his career. He also commended his impact as a respected community leader in Ikorodu, Lagos State, noting that his wisdom and exemplary lifestyle continue to inspire younger generations.
The President further celebrated Erogbogbo as the father of Abike Dabiri-Erewa and joined the family in marking the milestone with gratitude.
Tinubu also welcomed the release of the centenarian’s memoir, Echoes of Grace: The Journey of a Century, published in honour of his 100th birthday, while praying for continued good health, peace, and happiness for the elder statesman.
