Adejoke Opeyemi-Ogungbire, Aderonke Sakpere, and Ebenezer Chris-Ajah, all hailing from Nigeria, have been selected as participants in the prestigious TechWomen 2023 program.

TechWomen, an initiative backed by the United States, is dedicated to promoting the empowerment and involvement of women and girls worldwide, enabling them to realize their full potential in the technology industry.

The trio received recognition via the official Instagram account of the United States Diplomatic Mission in Nigeria last Thursday.

Will Stevens, the US Consulate General in Nigeria, extended heartfelt congratulations to these accomplished individuals and encouraged them to seize the opportunity to enrich their knowledge and skills through this exchange program.

Throughout the five-week TechWomen program, aspiring female leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) will partake in project-based mentorships at renowned tech companies in Chicago. Additionally, they will have the chance to attend professional development workshops and network at various events."
