TG/PS Sanni Reinforces Education and Career Development During School Visits in Lagos

The Tutor-General and Permanent Secretary, Education District II, Mr. Omotayo Layemo Sanni, has reaffirmed the Lagos State Government’s commitment to quality education during a working visit to selected public secondary schools in the district.


Mr. Sanni visited Ogudu Junior and Senior High School, as well as Kosofe Junior High School, as part of his ongoing monitoring and supervisory responsibilities. The visit coincided with the celebration of the International Day of Education and the Career Day for public secondary schools across the state.

Addressing students at Ogudu Senior High School, the TG/PS described education as the primary language of development, stressing that Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu remains fully committed to advancing education and technology in Lagos State. He encouraged students to remain disciplined and focused on their studies.

He explained that the Career Day initiative was designed to guide students toward informed career choices and purposeful living. According to him, Lagos State requires a new generation of professionals across diverse fields, including medicine, law, engineering, education, and entrepreneurship.



Mr. Sanni noted that the visit was aimed at reaffirming the district’s dedication to quality supervision, effective teaching, and holistic student development. He assured stakeholders that the Education District would continue to align with the State Government’s vision of building a knowledge-driven and globally competitive society.
