Sanwo-Olu Applauds Wife’s Support as She Turns 59

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has celebrated his wife, Dr Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, on the occasion of her 59th birthday, describing her as a consistent source of strength and stability in his personal life and public service.

Dr Sanwo-Olu, who is a qualified medical doctor, marked the milestone on Thursday, January 8. Over the years, she has remained a prominent figure in Lagos public life through her role as Chairperson of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials.

The governor said his wife’s support has gone beyond the home, noting that her understanding and encouragement have been instrumental to his leadership journey and the execution of his administration’s development agenda.

He praised her character, highlighting her strong faith, compassion and dedication to family values, which he said have shaped her approach to public service and community engagement.

According to Sanwo-Olu, the First Lady has carried out her responsibilities with dignity, using her position to promote social welfare and support initiatives aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable residents across the state.

He also acknowledged her contributions to governance, stating that her involvement in outreach programmes and advocacy efforts has complemented government policies targeted at inclusive growth and social development.

The governor expressed gratitude for her sacrifices, describing her as a dependable partner whose commitment has remained unwavering despite the demands of public office.
