The All Progressives Congress (APC) Christian Forum has appointed Prince Magbo, President of the Nigerian Community in Turkey, as its Diaspora Secretary.
The appointment is part of efforts by the Forum to strengthen its engagement with Nigerians living abroad and expand its influence within the global Nigerian community.
Magbo is expected to play a central role in coordinating diaspora-focused initiatives and building stronger ties between overseas Nigerians and the party’s leadership in Nigeria.
According to a statement issued by the Forum, the decision reflects confidence in his leadership experience and long-standing involvement in diaspora affairs.
In his new role, he will work to mobilize support for the administration of President Bola Tinubu among Nigerians in different countries.
He is also expected to serve as a link between diaspora communities and the government, helping to communicate policies and gather feedback from Nigerians abroad.
The Forum emphasized that Magbo’s track record in community organization and advocacy makes him well-suited for the responsibilities of the position.
The appointment underscores the growing importance of diaspora engagement in Nigeria’s political landscape and the APC’s broader strategy to strengthen its international support base.
