A diaspora-based organisation, Reformers Worldwide, has endorsed the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, ahead of the 2026 election.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the group’s founder, Muis Yusuf, said Oyebamiji has the leadership capacity to reposition the state and address what he described as longstanding issues of favoritism in governance.

He noted that effective governance requires competence and strategic thinking, adding that Oyebamiji’s experience in both public and private sectors sets him apart.

Yusuf stated that Osun needs a focused administrator capable of harnessing its human and material resources for sustainable growth.

He also stressed the importance of aligning the state with ongoing national economic reforms to drive development.

The group maintained that Oyebamiji’s previous roles demonstrated his ability to create value and manage key sectors of the economy.

It expressed confidence that the APC would reclaim Osun State in the 2026 governorship election.

Yusuf added that such a victory would not only reshape governance in the state but also strengthen the party’s position ahead of the 2027 general elections.
