Nigerians in UK Seek Donations for Family of Man Who Died in His Sleep Very

The Nigerian community in the United Kingdom has appealed for financial assistance to support the family of 35-year-old Nelson Omega Ekeobong, who reportedly died in his sleep on Saturday.
The appeal followed an announcement shared by members of the Nigerian community on Facebook, describing his death as an unexpected loss that has left his loved ones devastated.
According to the community, Ekeobong had not been known to be suffering from any illness before his death. His sudden passing has raised concerns about the welfare of his immediate family, particularly his wife and two young children.
Community members said the family would need support as they navigate the emotional and financial challenges arising from the loss.
They have therefore called on Nigerians living across the UK to contribute towards funeral arrangements and provide assistance to the deceased's dependants.
The appeal emphasised that contributions of any amount would be appreciated, noting that collective support could help reduce the financial burden on the grieving family.
Beyond financial donations, the community encouraged Nigerians to offer prayers, compassion and emotional support to Ekeobong's wife and children as they cope with the tragedy.
Members also expressed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for strength for his loved ones, as well as peaceful repose for the deceased.
