The Lagos State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency (MVAA) has reaffirmed its commitment to inter-agency collaboration following a courtesy visit by the Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA).

Receiving the LASCOPA delegation led by its General Manager, Mr. Afolabi Solebo, the Permanent Secretary of MVAA, Mr. Abdulrasheed Muri-Okunola, highlighted the Agency’s ongoing reforms, including a three-month amnesty programme and the replacement of damaged number plates.
Discussions during the visit focused on improving operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and consumer protection within vehicle administration processes across Lagos State.
Mr. Muri-Okunola emphasised that protecting consumer rights remains central to MVAA’s mandate and aligns with the governance priorities of the Lagos State Government.

Mr. Solebo commended MVAA’s structured service delivery and stressed the importance of sustained collaboration between agencies to enhance transparency, accountability, and public confidence in government services.
