LSPC Honours Retirees, Holdsolds 2026 Thanksgiving To Celebrate Service, Dedication, Institutional Legacy

It was a day of celebration and gratitude at the Lagos State Printing Corporation as the agency honored its latest batch of retirees. The LSPC New Hall was filled with joy on Wednesday as 23 distinguished staff members were celebrated for their meritorious service between 2024 and 2026. The event featured a special thanksgiving session, recognizing the retirees’ contributions to the corporation’s long-standing legacy.

​The General Manager of LSPC, Hon. Dr. Kolawole Peregrino, welcomed guests by describing the event as a celebration of sacrifice and faithfulness. He noted that the retirees are leaving behind a legacy of excellence that will continue to inspire the next generation of public servants. This marks the second major retirement ceremony under his leadership, signaling a shift toward a more appreciative corporate culture.

Representatives from the Head of Service and the Ministry of Establishment, Training, and Pension were also in attendance to offer their commendations. Mrs. Bankole Bolutife described the retirees as models of professionalism, while Mr. Yusuf Elegbede praised their loyalty. They both agreed that the foundation of the LSPC is built upon the hard work and discipline of those being honored.

​The atmosphere turned emotional as current staff members shared testimonials about the mentorship they received from the departing seniors. Mrs. Alausa Abdul-Quadri remarked that many current leaders in the corporation are products of the retirees' guidance. The ceremony included the presentation of certificates of service and gifts, followed by a symbolic cake-cutting to mark the beginning of a new chapter for the veterans.

Responding on behalf of the retirees, Mrs. Abosede Alebiosu thanked the management for the recognition, stating that the celebration assured them that their years of hard work truly mattered. The event concluded with prayers and a photo session, reinforcing the LSPC’s commitment to preserving its institutional memory. It was a fitting tribute to those who have dedicated their lives to the service of Lagos State.
