LASWA Warns Against Night Travel Ahead of Ilashe Concert

The Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) has warned residents against night-time travel on waterways ahead of a concert scheduled at Ilashe Beach.

In a statement on Sunday, LASWA reiterated that night travel on inland waterways remains strictly prohibited due to safety concerns.

The warning is ahead of a concert by Fuji musician Alhaji Sule Alao Malaika, expected to attract large crowds.

LASWA advised fun-seekers to arrive early and ensure they travel only during daylight hours to avoid risks linked to poor visibility.

The agency stressed that the directive is aimed at protecting lives and preventing avoidable accidents on Lagos waterways.
