The Lagos State Resilience Office (LASRO) has convened stakeholders at its 2025 End-of-Year Review Workshop to assess progress made under the Lagos Resilience Strategy and define priorities for the future.

The workshop, held at Colossus Lagos in Ikeja, brought together representatives of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, development partners, academics, and community leaders.

In her welcome address, the Chief Resilience Officer, Dr Folayinka Dania, revealed that LASRO successfully coordinated 31 priority resilience initiatives in 2025, aligning government programmes with resilience goals.

She noted that while significant progress has been recorded, the state must consolidate gains, close implementation gaps, and strengthen partnerships to address emerging urban challenges.

Participants engaged in interactive sessions to review performance, share insights, and co-create solutions aimed at strengthening Lagos’ capacity to withstand shocks, adapt to stresses, and secure a sustainable future.
