Thousands of Eyo masquerades, draped in their signature white Agbada and wielding carved Opambata staffs, take over the streets of Isale Eko to mark the long-awaited return of the Adamu Orisha Play.

 


The 2025 festival serves as both a spiritual cleansing for the city and a grand tribute to the legacies of Lagosian icons, drawing massive crowds of spectators who removed their shoes in accordance with ancient tradition to honor the passing processions.
