LASERC Inspects Divisional Offices Ahead of Consumer Operations

The Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Electricity Regulatory Commission (LASERC), Mrs. Temitope George, has led an inspection visit to the Commission’s divisional offices in Ikorodu and Amuwo-Odofin.

The visit, which included other executive members and staff, was aimed at assessing the readiness of the offices to commence full operations and serve electricity consumers within the divisions.

The offices are designed as front-line service centres to address consumer complaints and mediate disputes between electricity distribution companies and customers.

Mrs. George explained that the offices will house key operational units, including engineering, consumer affairs, legal and administrative departments, to ensure efficient service delivery.

The inspection underscores LASERC’s commitment to bringing regulatory services closer to residents while enhancing accountability and improving electricity service delivery across Lagos State.
