The Lagos State Government has commenced a two-day capacity-building programme aimed at enhancing learning agility among officers in the Administrative and Human Resource cadre of the public service.

Organised by the Ministry of Establishments and Training, the programme is themed “Cultivating Learning Agility in HR Professionals for Public Service.” It is designed to equip officers with adaptive skills required to navigate the evolving demands of governance.

Declaring the training open, the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Olubusola Abidakun, underscored the importance of continuous professional development. She noted that HR professionals must be equipped with relevant tools and strategic thinking capacity to drive institutional efficiency.

According to her, the effectiveness of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies largely depends on the strength of their human resource management systems. She encouraged participants to approach the sessions with open minds and a commitment to professional growth.

With over 200 officers in attendance, the programme reflects the state government’s ongoing investment in workforce development as part of broader reforms to strengthen service delivery across Lagos State.
