During the meeting, discussions centered on the performance of Nigeria’s capital market, strategies to boost investor confidence, and the critical role of professional regulation in sustaining economic growth. The engagement underscored Lagos State’s position as the commercial nerve centre of the country and a hub for financial innovation.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu commended the Council’s leadership for its commitment to raising professional and ethical standards within the stockbroking community. He acknowledged the Institute’s contribution to deepening market integrity and fostering transparency in financial transactions.

The Governor emphasized that a resilient capital market is essential for attracting both local and foreign investment, creating jobs, and supporting sustainable development.
