Lagos Tourism Commissioner Engages Facility Managers to Bolster J. Randle Centre’s Readiness for Festive Season

The Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, has met with facility managers of the J. Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History to review the centre’s operational state and strengthen its preparedness for the upcoming festive season.
The strategic meeting, held at the centre in Onikan, brought together top officials from the ministry and management partners responsible for the facility’s upkeep. It aimed to ensure the Centre maintains world-class standards as one of Lagos’ leading cultural and tourism landmarks.
Participants included the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Adebimpe Oyekan-Ismaila; Director of Administration and Human Resources, Mr. Taoreed Dosunmu; and Director of Facility Management, Mr. Abimbola Ogunshote.
Also present were Mrs. Jumoke Ayeni, CEO of KHC Global Services; Mrs. Toyin Fashola, CEO of Super Cleaning and Facility Management; and Mrs. Yewande Soyannwo, Co-Partner of Super Cleaning and Facility Management.
Discussions focused on proactive maintenance, safety measures, and improving the visitor experience ahead of the December festivities. Benson-Awoyinka underscored the importance of teamwork, efficiency, and cleanliness in maintaining the Centre’s status as a symbol of Lagos’ cultural pride.
She reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to positioning Lagos as Africa’s foremost destination for arts, culture, and tourism.
