Lagos State is set to host two major continental events the Intra-African Trade Fair 2027 and the Creative Africa Nexus 2026 following the signing of a hosting agreement witnessed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The agreement was signed at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts in Lagos, bringing together government officials and representatives of international organisations involved in the events.

Sanwo-Olu said the hosting rights demonstrate Lagos’ growing reputation as a leading commercial and creative hub on the African continent.

According to the Governor, the events will attract investors, entrepreneurs, and creative industry stakeholders from across Africa, creating opportunities for businesses to expand their networks and partnerships.

He added that Lagos is well prepared to showcase the continent’s cultural strength, economic potential, and entrepreneurial spirit to the global community.
