Lagos Strengthens Global Investment Drive Ahead of AIM Congress 2026

The Lagos State Government has taken further steps to consolidate its participation in the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) Congress 2026, following high-level engagements aimed at attracting foreign direct investment into key sectors of the State’s economy.

The engagement focused on Lagos State’s strategic participation at the 15th edition of the global investment forum, scheduled to hold from April 13 to 15, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, United Arab Emirates.

Commissioners and senior officials from key Ministries, Departments and Agencies were in attendance, reflecting a coordinated, whole-of-government approach to showcasing Lagos’ investment readiness across infrastructure, energy, housing, agriculture, tourism, and trade.

The AIM Congress 2026, themed “Reshaping Global Prosperity: Unlocking New Investment Pathways Towards a Sustainable and Inclusive Future,” is expected to serve as a major platform for mobilising capital, fostering innovation, and strengthening global economic partnerships.
