Lagos Strengthens Education Partnership With Teach For Nigeria

The Lagos State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to improving access to quality education through its partnership with Teach For Nigeria..

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu hosted members of the organisation’s Board of Trustees at Lagos House, Ikeja, alongside the Global Chief Executive Officer of Teach For All Global Network, Wendy Kopp.
The meeting focused on strategies to expand learning opportunities for children and strengthen educational support for underserved communities across Lagos State.
Teach For Nigeria works with schools and communities to recruit and train young leaders who are deployed to classrooms to help improve learning outcomes for pupils.

Sanwo-Olu expressed appreciation for the organisation’s continued collaboration with the state government, noting that partnerships like this play a vital role in building a stronger educational system for the future.
