Lagos State Government Receives KPMG Nigeria Leadership

The Lagos State Government on Tuesday welcomed the Senior Partners of KPMG Nigeria and the Chief Executive Officer of KPMG West Africa, Mr. Tola Adeyemi, during a courtesy visit to Lagos House, Marina. The visit underscored ongoing engagement between the state government and the professional services firm on issues bordering on economic development, governance, and strategic partnerships.

Receiving the delegation on behalf of the state government, senior officials highlighted Lagos State’s commitment to fostering collaborations with private sector stakeholders to strengthen institutional capacity and drive sustainable growth. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on best practices in public sector reform and service delivery.

Mr. Adeyemi commended the Lagos State Government for its leadership in economic innovation and infrastructure development, noting that the state remains a critical hub for investment and business in West Africa. He reaffirmed KPMG’s readiness to support the state through advisory services, capacity building, and data-driven solutions.

Discussions during the visit also focused on areas of mutual interest, including financial management, policy implementation, and the use of technology to improve efficiency across government institutions. Both parties emphasised the importance of leveraging private sector expertise to enhance public sector performance.
