Lagos State Creative Industry Stakeholders Explore Strategic Partnerships to Boost Tourism

The Lagos State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the tourism, arts, and cultural heritage ecosystem through strategic collaboration with private sector stakeholders. This assurance was given during a courtesy visit by key creative industry players to the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.


The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Bopo Oyekan-Ismaila, alongside members of the Ministry’s management team, including the Deputy Director, Monuments Management Department, Mrs. Folashade Jide-Oyeshola, and the Head of the Legal Unit, Mrs. Eunice Ibitola, received the Managing Director of iFind Productions, Mr. Francis Nebot, and the Co-founder/Managing Director of IGA Nigeria Limited and Heritage Consultant to the Ministry, Mr. Mogbolahan Ajala.


The meeting, held at the Office of the Permanent Secretary in Alausa, Ikeja, provided a platform for constructive engagement and idea exchange on innovative strategies aimed at advancing Lagos State’s tourism and cultural heritage agenda.

Discussions focused on opportunities for collaboration, content development, heritage preservation, and leveraging creative productions to enhance Lagos State’s global tourism visibility and cultural storytelling.



Mrs. Oyekan-Ismaila commended the stakeholders for their interest in partnering with the State, reiterating that public-private partnerships remain critical to achieving sustainable growth in the tourism and creative sectors under the #AGreaterLagosRising agenda.
