The Lagos State Health District III has commended the health intervention initiative undertaken by the Oba of Ajah and Okun-Ajah Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdul Lateef Kolawole Lawal, to mark his first coronation anniversary.

The Permanent Secretary of the District, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke, gave the commendation during activities commemorating the anniversary, which featured a series of humanitarian and health-focused interventions targeted at improving community health outcomes.
She described the comprehensive medical outreach as timely and impactful, noting that it provided residents with essential services such as medical consultations, health screenings, and health education, while promoting preventive care and early detection of illnesses.
Dr. Adeleke also acknowledged the distribution of gifts and support items to pregnant women, nursing mothers, and children at the Maternal and Child Centre (MCC), Eti-Osa, facilitated through the Queen, Her Royal Majesty, Queen Taofeekat Oluwa-Olumegbon.

According to her, the initiative complements government efforts under the THEMES Plus Agenda, particularly in the areas of Health, Environment, and Social Inclusion, while reinforcing the importance of partnerships with traditional institutions in delivering people-centred healthcare.
