Lagos Head of Service Visits State Liaison Office in Abuja

The Head of Service of Lagos State, Mr. Bode Agoro, paid a surprise courtesy visit to the Lagos State Liaison Office in Abuja as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination within the state’s public service.



During the visit, Mr. Agoro was warmly received by the Director of Liaison, Mrs. Taiwo Adaramola, alongside members of the office’s management team. The visit provided an opportunity for the Head of Service to interact directly with staff and assess operations within the liaison office.

Addressing the management staff, Agoro encouraged them to foster a conducive working environment that promotes teamwork, efficiency and professionalism. He stressed that maintaining positive workplace relationships is essential for improving productivity and delivering effective services on behalf of the Lagos State Government.

The Head of Service also emphasised the importance of prioritising both mental and physical health among public servants. According to him, the well-being of staff members is directly linked to the quality of service delivery within the public sector.



In her remarks, the Executive Secretary of the Law Reform Commission, Mrs. Oluyemisi Ogunlola, reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to reviewing and updating Lagos State laws to ensure they remain clear, relevant and practical. She expressed confidence that sustained collaboration with the PMO would enhance regulatory effectiveness and improve governance outcomes across the state.
