The Lagos State Government, through the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, has officially commenced the "Eko Studio Culture" Masterclass. This initiative offers free intensive training in music production and other creative disciplines to young talents who recently emerged successful from a rigorous statewide audition process.

In partnership with Dreams Studio in Ikorodu, the program is designed to equip aspiring creatives with industry-standard skills. Trainees will be mentored by seasoned professionals, covering a comprehensive curriculum that includes sound engineering, songwriting, and the technicalities of modern music production.
Beyond technical skills, the masterclass focuses on "creative entrepreneurship," teaching participants the business side of the music industry. The goal is to ensure that these young artists can not only create high-quality content but also navigate the commercial landscape to build sustainable careers and contribute to the state’s economy.
This initiative is a core component of Governor Sanwo-Olu’s T.H.E.M.E.S Plus Agenda, which prioritizes youth empowerment and the development of the creative sector. By providing a platform for homegrown talent, the government aims to solidify Lagos' position as Africa’s premier hub for arts, music, and creative innovation.

At the conclusion of the training, participants are expected to emerge with the technical capacity and confidence to compete on a global stage. The Ministry believes that by investing in these creative minds, it is fostering a new generation of professionals who will drive job creation and cultural growth within the state.
