The Lagos State Government has carried out a comprehensive inspection of the Imota Light Industrial Park in Ikorodu ahead of its planned commissioning, as part of efforts to ensure the facility meets operational and structural standards.

The inspection was led by the Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade and Investment, Mrs. Folashade Kaosarat Bada Ambrose, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Babatunde Onigbanjo, and other senior officials of the ministry.

During the visit, the delegation examined completed structures and ongoing projects within the park, including utility installations, access roads, drainage systems, and shared service facilities.

Officials also assessed infrastructure readiness, safety compliance, and the integration of power and water supply systems required to support industrial operations within the park.

The Commissioner described the industrial park as a key driver for economic development, noting that it will support light manufacturing activities, create employment opportunities, and strengthen enterprise development across Lagos State.
