The First Lady of Lagos State, Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, led about 600 schoolboys on an educational visit to the Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, as part of activities marking the grand finale of the 2026 Lagos Boy Child Initiative (LBCI).

The visit formed a key highlight of the four-day residential camp designed to expose participants to governance structures and public administration processes in Lagos State. The delegation was received by the Head of Service, Mr. Olabode Agoro, alongside the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, and members of the Body of Permanent Secretaries.
Presenting the boys to the Head of Service, the First Lady reaffirmed her commitment to nurturing a generation of disciplined, informed, and purpose-driven young men. She stressed that deliberate investments in mentorship, exposure, and value reorientation are essential for sustainable leadership development.
Addressing the participants at the Adeyemi-Bero Auditorium, Mr. Agoro provided insights into the workings of the Lagos State Public Service, emphasizing discipline, integrity, and dedication as foundational values for effective leadership.

Earlier in the programme, the boys visited Cadbury Nigeria Plc in Ikeja, where they were introduced to corporate best practices and teamwork, broadening their exposure to both public and private sector operations.
