Lagos Engages Ikorodu Political Leaders to Deepen Inclusive Governance

The Lagos State Government, through the Office of Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement, held a strategic engagement with political stakeholders in Ikorodu Division to strengthen citizen participation.

Special Adviser Dr. Afolabi Abiodun Tajudeen emphasised the need to bridge gaps between policy formulation and grassroots realities, fostering ownership and accountability.

Permanent Secretary Engr. Sholabomi Shasore reiterated the Office’s mandate to promote inclusive dialogue across social and ethnic divides.

Professor Omotayo Olatubosun delivered the keynote, highlighting civic engagement as essential to governance optimisation.
