Lagos Disburses Eko Cares Financial Assistance to 300 Additional Beneficiaries

The Lagos State Government has disbursed financial assistance cheques to an additional 300 beneficiaries under the Eko Cares Financial Assistance Programme, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive governance and social protection.

The presentation ceremony was held at the Office of Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement, where beneficiaries were drawn from various communities across the State.
Addressing beneficiaries, the Permanent Secretary of the Office, Engr. Sholabomi Shasore, described the programme as a practical demonstration of the dividends of democracy promised by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Kadri Hamzat.
She conveyed the goodwill of the Special Adviser on Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement, Dr. Afolabi Abiodun Tajudeen, stressing that the programme was designed to provide relief to indigent residents and support sustainable livelihoods.

Beneficiaries were advised to utilise the financial support judiciously to improve their welfare, meet urgent needs, and invest in productive ventures in line with the objectives of the Eko Cares Programme.
