The Lagos State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to sustained stakeholder engagement and private sector development as the Honourable Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade and Investment (MCCTI), Mrs. Folashade Bada Ambrose, hosted executives and leaders of the Badagry Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (BACIMA).

The meeting, which took place at the Ministry on Tuesday, underscored the State Government’s strategy of working closely with business associations to stimulate economic growth at the grassroots and regional levels.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Babatunde Onigbanjo, the Commissioner commended BACIMA for its initiative and drive toward expanding commercial activities within Badagry and its environs.
Mr. Onigbanjo assured the chamber of the Ministry’s full support toward the successful organisation of BACIMA’s maiden trade fair, describing the initiative as a critical platform for promoting local enterprise, investment opportunities, and regional trade.

He added that the Sanwo-Olu administration remains committed to creating an enabling environment for commerce, stressing that trade fairs and business exhibitions are vital tools for job creation, market expansion, and inclusive economic development.
