One month into the commencement of commercial operations for the Lagos Blue Line Rail, more than 350 trips have been successfully completed, as reported by Governor Sanwo-Olu’s Senior Special Assistant on Twitter now X, Jubril Gawat.
During this time, the system has safely transported over 75,000 passengers to their various destinations, including schools, workplaces, businesses, and back to their families. The collection of over 3.8 million Cowry cards showcases the growing success of this endeavor.
The administration is enthusiastic about enhancing the service by increasing train frequency, aiming to provide a safer, faster, more efficient, and affordable transportation option for the people of Lagos.
