Preparations have begun for the upcoming Invest Lagos 3.0 summit following a stakeholders’ meeting convened by the Lagos State Ministry of Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade and Investment.

The meeting was presided over by the Commissioner, Mrs. Folashade Bada Ambrose, shortly after the announcement of a partnership between the Lagos State Government and the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council to organise the event.
The summit, scheduled to take place on June 9 and 10, 2026, is expected to attract investors, business leaders, and policymakers from across the world to explore investment opportunities in Lagos.
The planning meeting included the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mr. Babatunde Onigbanjo, the Chief Executive Officer of Sterling One Foundation, Ms. Peju Ibekwe, as well as heads of departments and units within the ministry.

Ambrose charged stakeholders to work collaboratively to ensure the successful delivery of the event, describing the summit as an important platform to promote Lagos as a leading investment destination in Africa.
