Lagos Appreciates Residents’ Patience Over Lekki-Epe Road Rehabilitation

The Lagos State Government has expressed appreciation to residents and motorists for their patience amid traffic disruptions caused by ongoing rehabilitation works along the Lekki-Epe corridor.

Officials acknowledged that the construction activities have led to temporary traffic congestion but assured residents that the project is necessary to improve road infrastructure and traffic flow in the area.

​​​​​​The government noted that efforts are being made to accelerate construction timelines while maintaining safety standards for workers and road users.

Motorists were also advised to plan their journeys carefully and make use of alternative routes provided by traffic management authorities to reduce delays.

The government reiterated its commitment to completing the project as quickly as possible while ensuring long-term improvements to transportation infrastructure in the Lekki-Epe axis.
