Health District V Distributes Critical Medical Equipment to Strengthen PHCs

Lagos State Health District V has distributed essential medical equipment to Primary Health Centres (PHCs) across its LGAs and LCDAs to enhance service delivery.

The Permanent Secretary, Dr. Oladapo Asiyanbi, led the distribution exercise, presenting equipment to Ojo Primary Health Centre following a needs assessment review.

Items distributed included a Resuscitaire, Oxygen Concentrator, Patient Monitor, Fetal Doppler, and sterilization equipment, alongside consumables for infection prevention and immunization outreach.

Dr. Asiyanbi emphasized strict adherence to Infection Prevention and Control protocols and encouraged the adoption of the 5S methodology for improved facility management.

The initiative underscores the District’s commitment to strengthening primary healthcare infrastructure and improving patient outcomes across communities.
