Gov. Sanwo-Olu Welcomes PTAD Leadership

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Monday received the Senior Management Team of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) at Lagos House, Alausa, in a strategic engagement focused on strengthening pension administration and improving service delivery to retirees.

The delegation was led by the Executive Secretary of PTAD, Tolulope Odunaiya, who briefed the Governor on ongoing reforms within the Directorate and the importance of intergovernmental collaboration in ensuring that pension obligations are met efficiently and transparently.
Discussions during the meeting centered on safeguarding the welfare of retirees who have devoted decades of service to the nation. Both parties underscored the need for robust systems that eliminate bottlenecks, reduce delays, and ensure accountability in pension disbursement.
Governor Sanwo-Olu reiterated Lagos State’s unwavering commitment to building and sustaining a pension structure that is fair, transparent, and responsive. He emphasized that retirees deserve dignity and financial security after years of dedicated public service.

The meeting concluded with a shared resolve to deepen cooperation between Lagos State and PTAD, reinforcing institutional reforms that prioritize integrity, efficiency, and trust in pension administration.
