Gov. Sanwo-Olu Welcomes Oniru To Promote Inclusive Business Growth

Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu received His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, the Oniru of Iru Land, at Lagos House, Marina, in a meeting focused on strengthening economic collaboration and inclusive development.

Central to discussions was the “Oniru Meets Business” initiative, which brings together community leaders, investors, and government stakeholders to address business challenges and create an enabling environment for enterprise growth in Iru Land.

The Governor and the monarch also explored the Oniru Business Culture Day initiative, aimed at promoting peace, investment, and cultural heritage as pillars of economic development within the community.

Governor Sanwo-Olu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fostering partnerships with traditional institutions as strategic stakeholders in grassroots development and economic inclusion.

The meeting underscored the importance of synergy between government and traditional leadership in building sustainable communities and advancing Lagos’ vision of inclusive growth.
