Gov. Sanwo-Olu Inaugurates Lagos State Sports Trust Fund Board

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has inaugurated the Board of the Lagos State Sports Trust Fund, charging members to mobilise resources for grassroots and school sports development.

The Board is chaired by Mr. Enitan Oshodi, with Mr. Olaposi Agunbiade serving as Executive Secretary/CEO, alongside other distinguished members.

Speaking at Lagos House, Marina, the Governor emphasised the need for private sector participation to build robust sports institutions.

Chairman Oshodi highlighted plans to create funding pathways and strengthen sporting infrastructure in the megacity.

The inauguration marks a strategic effort to enhance sports development, talent discovery and long-term institutional sustainability in Lagos State.
