Gov. Sanwo-Olu Hosts Mexican Ambassador, Discusses Trade and Cultural Partnerships

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has hosted the Ambassador of Mexico to Nigeria, Alfredo Miranda Ortiz, at Lagos House in Ikeja to explore opportunities for stronger bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, both parties discussed areas where Lagos and Mexico could collaborate, particularly in trade, cultural exchange, and economic partnerships. The discussions highlighted the potential for increased international cooperation between Lagos and global partners.
The Governor noted that Lagos remains a leading economic hub in Africa and continues to pursue partnerships that will expand investment opportunities and cultural connections with other countries.
In a related development, Sanwo-Olu also attended the unveiling of State and Divisional Ambassadors of the IBILE Youth Academy, an initiative of the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development aimed at strengthening youth leadership.

The Governor commended young participants for stepping forward to represent their communities and encouraged them to take advantage of programmes that build leadership capacity among young people.
