Gov. Sanwo-Olu Holds Strategic Breakfast Meeting with CEOs on Lagos Security

Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has held a private breakfast meeting with a select group of Managing Directors and Chief Executive Officers, convened by the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security collaboration in the state.


The high-level engagement provided an opportunity for frank and focused discussions on security challenges, private sector involvement, and innovative approaches to sustaining safety across Lagos. The Governor emphasised the importance of collective responsibility in addressing security concerns in a complex megacity like Lagos.

Participants at the meeting exchanged insights on emerging threats, intelligence sharing, and the need for sustained investment in security infrastructure. The Governor reiterated that public-private partnerships remain central to the state’s security architecture and long-term stability.

Sanwo-Olu noted that such direct engagements allow for practical solutions to be identified and implemented efficiently. He stressed that security conversations must translate into action, measurable outcomes, and improved safety for residents and businesses alike.


The Governor expressed appreciation to the private sector leaders for their continued support of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, affirming that their contributions play a critical role in keeping Lagos safe, resilient, and economically viable.
